Fragrances Oils:

Fragrance oils are a handmade blend of naturally occurring ingredients to imitate a flavour or scent. Popularly made by mixing essences, essential oils, butters and fruit oils and other beautiful naturally occurring chemicals, to master a scent.

 

We take pride in using only natural fragrances in our products. However, it is important to note that most fragrance oils used in soaps are synthetic and lab produced. While some soap bars do contain fragrances, the limited availability of natural options may mean they are not always included in every product.

 

Colours, Pigments & Dyes: ​

Our soaps use colours, pigments and dyes derived from oxides, native botanicals, earth clays, plants and minerals. They are all proudly sourced from Australia.

Although highly unlikely there may be staining on pale fabrics so please be aware.

 

Storing:

Once purchased, soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until use. After each use, allow the soap to dry out on a dish or away from water. Failure to do this may cause the soap to become soft or sweat.

 

Safety Patch Testing:

We highly suggest you patch test before using the soap. The soap is for external use only.  Should any irritation occur discontinue immediately; we would be grateful for any feedback should this happen.

 

Our soap is made using three ingredients: water, caustic soda and oil. Cold process soap making is a method that involves mixing oils with alkali, sodium hydroxide/lye, to create soap through a chemical reaction known as saponification. This process transforms the fatty acids in oils into soap while also producing glycerine as a byproduct.

 

Best Before Date:

Soaps typically have a best before date of 18 months after manufacture, but they may last longer if stored correctly.

We will reproduce select popular designs; however, once they are sold out, they will no longer be available. If you have a request for a design to be remade or would like to suggest a new creation, please feel free to contact us.
